MY 2021 FORMULA1 SEASON PREDICTIONS
So I am very curious about the 2021 FORMULA1 season, what about you?. These predictions are based on the categories given below.
1. MOST IMPROVED DRIVER
For this, we cannot take Lewis Hamilton or checo and Pierre Gasly because they all had great 2020's. For this, my choice is Esteban Ocon. Well, he had some quality-victories over Daniel Ricciardo He improved a lot throughout the year and also he completely measurable behind Daniel, he had put in a quiet effort and was also able to put Daniel under serious pressure a couple of times. So it's his second season with Renault, Alpine maybe...alongside Alonso and I can say that Alonso has some serious pressure and flame under him. I hope Esteban will respond readily to that. So I conclude that Esteban Ocon is my choice for the Most improved driver 2021.
2. FIERCEST TEAM RIVALRY
This has a combination of close battles, similar points but None of the teammates had this kind of rivalry in the 2020 season, this was lacking last year. I am going to say 'THE FERRARI BOYS' are going to have a rivalry this year. Carlos Sainz and Charles leclerc. I think Carlos is going to push Charles and he is not going to like it. These are the two drivers who are in a form very very well. In the case of Charles, they didn't have a good piece of machinery but Sebastian couldn't handle that but Charles was able to handle it and even has podium finishes in the last season, this shows his capability. And also Ferrari is going a step further, their speeds in pre-season testing and practice sessions are good.
3.EXPECTATION vs REALITY OF THE YEAR
It's not like I don't like him but I am not a fan. Everyone is hyping this but I am not. And the person is 'Fernando Alonso'. In an interview, he said that he is going to beat Hamilton and Verstappen. SERIOUSLY!!!! No offence. Of course, Kimi proved that age doesn't matter he still has the pace. Even Alonso is in the domain of the greatest racers of all time. But he is not regular in F1. if we keep it aside alpine should have Daniel because he has more pace than Alonso. But I really hope I wrong on this one.
4.DRIVER OF THE YEAR
The driver need not be on the top. For me, the driver of the year is Sergio Perez. He really proved himself last year. The longest wait to win a Grand Prix. Now he is a new time. Probably the second-best team out there. most people say that a red bull is fast only for Verstappen but I will say that I don't know what happens this year, in this situation we can trust Checo.
5.CONSTRUCTORS TITLE
I am putting Haas in P10. Well, the team principal Gunther Steiner had given very discouraging facts about their new car VF-21. And also they got the wrong driver. Nikita Mazepin. Mick Schumacher has the team burden which I think he can do his best. And also they are bringing two rookies, which make it even more difficult for them. So I am going to give Haas P10.
I am not saying Williams is P9. They have got a huge step forward. P9 is going to be Alfa Romeo, they stay pretty solid on P9. Giovinazzi and Kimi make up a good pair, but Giovinazzi is a step ahead of Kimi. This means Williams will be moving up to P8. I guess George will score point in Williams this year as they have got a good investment. With George's experience in Mercedes last year he is going to take his team-up
The next five teams can be in P7 or in P3. It is hard to justify. For P7 I am going with alpha Tauri. I really like Gasly and Yuki but they lack in consistency package or they have a chance even getting their team a step up. I love to be Alpha Tauri high but I am putting it on P7.
And in P6 I am going with Alpine. Esteban had a great season bringing those points and Alonso alongside is going to be super tight.
P5 is going to be Aston Martin. The Racing Point changed into Aston Martin with their new car AMR-21 which look pretty like the Mercedes is good on the paper and competitive on the road too. So I am giving it p5.
P4 is going to be SCUDERIA FERRARI. They are undoubtedly a step ahead compared to last year. Last year they are not even close to competing for P3 but this year with Sainz and Leclerc and with the new car they are going to grab some points so I am keeping The Ferrari at P4.
This means McLaren is going to be at P3. Undoubtedly Daniel and Lando are going to make a tremendous combo which means McLaren is having a good set of hands-on steering wheels. With a good car and good drivers, they are going to be in P3 the same as the year before.
P2!! It seems obvious and I am going to say that Redbull is in P2. Checo one of the most experienced drivers on the grid. Max, who can compete Hamilton. Redbull is going to be on P2
Finally the P1. It's none other than the dominant Mercedes. Their car seems dominant this year too. I am not going to say anything about them. They have one of the greatest 10000 moving parts and also the drivers. No doubt they are going to be in P1.
