FACTS ABOUT FORMULA 1 CAR (PART 1)

1. Did you ever imagine how fast could a supercar decelerate and how could the brakes stop the car at that high speed so fast? Well if we talk about a formula 1 car, the time taken to accelerate from 0 to 100 MPH and again decelerate to 0 by a formula 1 car is 4 seconds!!!! Just imagine it a 4 wheel vehicle going from 0 to 100 and coming back again to 0 in 4 seconds...... It's just awesome. Formula 1 things. If we talk about the deceleration, this work is done by the brakes. Of course, it should be done by the brakes. When the drivers apply the brakes at a high speed these get heated a lot, like a lot!! The brakes are heated up to 1000 degree celsius. And even in that heat, the brakes could sustain because the air drag on the car for a reason. The air drag forcefully comes on the car and also on the brakes to as it is a part of the car, the air cools down the brakes instantly. They will be at 1000 celsius for just a moment and then they cool down immediately. The drives can also adjust the brake balance on the four wheels not the car during a race. The access is on the steering wheel. They can change it during a mid-race. And also these pair of brake pads are only used for a race. They cannot use for more than one race. The brakes tore off.

2. The drivers lose up to 2-4 kgs of weight after driving the formula 1 car for 1 and a half hour. There are many factors for this like the downforce they experience in those speeds. The air hitting on them, the heat which comes from the car. Because of the heat, there will be a lot of dehydration for the body. Because of the dehydration and also the heat, the drivers reduce in their weights.

3. The major part of the car is the engine. It's like the heart for the car. They don't use an engine for more than 5 races. The engine cannot sustain for more than 5 races.
